two things...

before i tell you how crazy rad the USC women's water polo team is, two things:

1) the five oaks cab i talked about last time was actually kinda sucky the other night. so beware... maybe it's hit-or-miss... i'm just saying. i swear it was good the first time but the next bottle was barfy. will check the years next time and inform.

2) gilmore girls is over. this is a tragedy and i don't care who thinks i'm lame for saying so. great show and you can suck on it if you disagree. i almost cried tonight and those of you who know me know that even a welling of tears is a big day in darcy-land. gilmore girls: you are great. any series finale that has a cameo of christiane amanpour is a show that is alright with me. and they tape it at usc sometimes so NOW what am i supposed to do on my lunch breaks?

and also...

if you're feeling cheap and need a glass or three of wine, pick up a bottle of FIVE OAKS cab or chardonnay. it really doesn't suck at all and it's $2.50 at rite aid. seriously. no one needs to know you're drinking wine that's cheaper than a sourdough jack. or that you bought it next to the blow-up pool toy aisle at a drug store. rite aid? right ON!

i'm LOST

LOST is a real mind-screw of a show. it makes donnie darko and even my weird dream with the giants and the kitten stuck in a well look like a dick and jane book. or at least, a dick and jane book where dick talks to an invisible guy who really hates flashlights and jane parachuted onto an island and found a bunch of dead people living on old cans of beer that someone found in the back of a volkswagon bus.
